Being on the internet has more risks than you think. This is a few tips to make sure you are okay while being on the internet.
*Do not use last names, school names, friends names.
*Make a personal blog if you want to tell people about your life because if you were to have a school blog you wouldn't want all of your personal business out there.
*Never comment on someones post with a negative comment.
*Even after deleting something others can still see it if they have certain programs. Only post stuff you want to stay
*Do not use profanity if you are using a school blog. Blogs are for people to read, and some people wouldn't like the vulgar language.
*Make sure that the things you are writing about are true. Nothing false should be put on the internet.
*If you are writing a quote that you took from anyone you should quote it and put their name.
*Use pictures just in case any reader is confused with what you posted. It will help them further understand.
*Build community. Meaning make people like you. Talk about things everyone may have been through. Make blogs about something everyone enjoys.
*Blog frequently with new ideas or something of interest. Don't make the readers regret the minutes they spent reading something boring.
